Hawker's Rebellion

Hawker's Rebellion

5* More hair-raising thrills

This book details the part played by Sir Andrew Hawker in the 1745 Jacobite rebellion. It is a complex tale of concealed loyalties, double-dealing, and stirring deeds of courage and adventure.

The books in this series are impossible to put down. They are so well-researched that each is steeped in the very tastes and smells of the times in which each is set. The reader feels as though his or her feet are firmly planted in a sodden field, or set in the stirrups of a horse riding triumphantly through the gates of a royal residence. Swords clash and musket balls buzz past, wreaking death on all around but he who, through daring exploits, lives to tell the tale. Hawker's Rebellion is no exception.

Highly recommended!
